Insane Trade is a short video which points out that some commodities are sold and transported in roughly equal amounts between nations eg the US exports and imports roughly the same amount of potatoes. The conversation around why can cover topics such as labour costs, land costs, taxes, etc, how they vary across the globe and how the cost to the environment isn’t factored in.
